Opportunities

Our organization is a leader in the Atelier Movement and the re-awakening of Classical Realism on a global scale. The Board of Directors is in need of new members who see the importance of preserving this craft and making a historical impact in the art world. Board members focus on creating stability for the Academy and nurturing its growth locally, nationally and internationally by offering skills, services and resources to the organization. Board members may also choose to donate or fundraise in a team effort to develop programs and scholarships that benefit Classical Realism art education.

We need volunteers to help with:

Miano Academy of Art is first and foremost a school and sanctuary for the preservation of Classical Realism. However, our work will make very little impact if only incapsulated in the school itself. We need leaders who will create gallery and exhibition opportunities for both our Apprentices and Master Artists.

Because of our specialized niche position in the art industry, most people are unfamiliar with what makes ateliers different. Speaking engagements and events to create interest in atelier history is vital for building supportive awareness within those around us.

The world of social media and the online press has created a rapid-changing environment that is time consuming to keep up with. Our team is small and concentrated on the dedication to the day-to-day tasks of preserving Classical Realism education. We need help creating and submitting updated information and announcements to the public to drive traffic and keep our voice strong in our community both locally and nationally.

Social Media Content:

• Create short, shareable clips for our social media platforms to generate excitement and interest in the Academy.

Event Documentation:

• Capture and edit video content during Academy events, ensuring that the essence of our gatherings is beautifully represented.
