Description

Fridays, 9:30am – 12:30pm

Flex your drawing skills in this Figure Long Pose class. Working from a live model, we will do a deep dive into the human form. Students will draw the same model in the same pose for each class, giving them an opportunity to develop their figure drawings beyond the beginning stages and find the true form and lines of the figure. Starting with a foundation of basic shapes and flow of the body, this class will advance into a more precise study of light and anatomy – honing the tools that can make a figure truly shine.

Students will immerse themselves in important fundamentals of construction, anatomy, shapes, values, forms and edges in both drawing and painting. Intermittent full length demonstrations by Charles Miano will be a part of the course.
